Martin Grant Homes to pay season ticket cost

Developer Martin Grant Homes will cover the cost of season tickets for buyers purchasing at its Summerswood development, Ifield, Crawley. The offer is available for a limited time only and applies to all purchases made at the development during that period, where there are currently three and four bedroom homes available from £464,950.

In recognition of the development’s excellent potential as a home for London commuters, Martin Grant Homes will pay for buyers’ first class season tickets – allowing new residents of Summerswood to make the daily 48 minute journey from Ifield to London Victoria for free, offering a saving of £5,420.

Summerswood offers 27 three, four and five bedroom family homes, with the number of different house types on offer designed to appeal to a range of buyer tastes. The development benefits from a unique position on the edge of the High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stretching from West Sussex to Kent, yet also within just 50 minutes of the capital. Whilst the idyllic protected countryside on the doorstep offers a wide selection of outdoors activities and picturesque walks, the proximity to the capital makes Ifield a popular choice for London commuters.

The development is set back from the road leading out of the village of Ifield to the west. Crawley and its transport connections and shopping are just two minutes on the train from Ifield station. Manor Green Primary School and Waterfield Primary School, both in Ifield, are Ofsted rated “Outstanding” and “Good” respectively, and nearby Cottesmore Preparatory School represents a popular independent option.

The show home has recently been unveiled, offering prospective purchasers a glimpse of the living space offered at Summerswood. Designed by Andrew Henry Interiors, the show home has been finished so as to appeal to a family buyer. To the rear of the ground floor is the spacious L-shaped kitchen/ family room, lit in part by sky lights with plenty room for cooking, eating and relaxing. The country style kitchen is contrasted by a contemporary dining space, including a feature wall of geometric pink and cream wall paper and neutral voile soft furnishings. On the first floor, further living space is offered in the drawing room, with textured wall paper and a tear drop glass ceiling light creating a sense of opulent luxury. The master and second bedrooms are both en-suite and are designed to exude sophisticated style, with marble pattern feature wall paper and smart bathroom fittings. The third and fourth bedrooms share a bathroom on the second floor and have been designed as children’s bedrooms, one with a quirky dinosaur theme and the other with a teenager in mind, with a pretty butterfly motif repeated throughout.

All homes at Summerswood are finished to an excellent standard, with features such as integrated kitchen appliances, polished chrome plumbing and door fittings, a choice of Karndean tile flooring, and integrated wardrobes, offering the ‘little extras’ which set Martin Grant Homes properties apart from their competitors.
