Leading Warwickshire developer David Wilson Homes East Midlands is hosting exclusive Help to Buy events this weekend (17thand 18thNovember) at its developments across the county to help homebuyers find out more about the scheme.
The new home sites in Heathcote and Nuneaton will play host to the events from 10am until 5.30pm and Sales Advisers will be on-hand to advise property seekers on how the scheme could help them get on or move up the property ladder.
Selected homes at each development have offers available including Stamp Duty contributions, flooring and upgraded kitchen packages which could help buyers save thousands on their move.
Visitors attending the event will also be able to view the show homes and see first-hand the quality of the properties available.
Moreover, the fact that first time buyers are now exempt from Stamp Duty (on properties up to £300,000) means that there is another compelling reason to get on the property ladder now.
John Reddington, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said:
“Help to Buy is a brilliant scheme and we are delighted to be hosting these specialised events for keen house hunters in the area. The initiative has proved so helpful to so many homebuyers and we would encourage anyone looking to buy a home with lower upfront costs to attend the events and find out more. We have a range of properties available to reserve in the area and are looking forward to showing visitors what’s on offer and how we can help them make a move to a brand new home.”
The popular Help to Buy scheme is open to both first time buyers and existing homeowners. There is no income cap for applicants and you can buy a new-build property with a value of up to £600,000.
The scheme helps you to buy a home with an equity loan of up to 20% of the full price of the property and just a 5% deposit. You won't have to pay any interest charges on this loan for the first five years and you own 100% of your own home from the start.
To find out more, the events are being hosted at the following developments: Poets Meadow in Heathcote and The Long Shoot in Nuneaton.
