Five-star house builder Barratt Manchester is offering potential homebuyers 105% Part Exchange on their existing homes if they purchase one of the selected properties at The Links development in Preston.
Trying to find a buyer, waiting for a sale, and hoping the property chain doesn’t break are just some of the pressures that manifest when selling a home. Part Exchange takes away these stresses as the leading housebuilder will give buyers 105% of a Royal Institute Chartered Surveyors (RICS) valuation based upon the assumption of achieving a sale within 8 - 10 weeks.
Part Exchange works in the same way as selling a home on the property market, except Barratt Homes Manchester becomes your buyer. After having the property valued by at least two independent chartered surveyors, Barratt Manchester will calculate 105% of the average value.
Dene Trickett, Head of Part Exchange at Barratt Manchester said, “Part Exchange means a much more efficient moving process and it completely removes the chain. The buyer will also benefit as by offering 105% of the average 8 to 10 week RICS valuation. It also helps buyers save on extra costs such as estate agent fees.”
“For example: If the first RICS valuation was £120,000 and the second RICS valuation was £125,000, then a 100% Part Exchange offer would be £122,500. Barratt Manchester would offer £128,625 with a 105% Part Exchange.
If a customer has an existing property valued at 70% or less of the price of the new home then they may be eligible for Part Exchange.”
