With lots of new technology hitting the market it can be hit or miss on whether the item you purchase will do the job right, especially when it comes to kitchen products.

Our junior designer Meghan recently tested the Masha and absolutely loved it. Here's what she had to say:
"Like most people I absolutely hate mashing potatoes but I love mash! I've tried all sorts of mash in the past - even packet mash, but found that it's just not the same as when it's made with fresh potatoes.
As we all know the key to consistently smooth, creamy mashed potato is to remove all the lumps without over-processing, but it can be incredibly hard to get it right! That's why I wanted to try the Masha on my next batch of potatoes!
I had never tried using an electric potato masher before, so I thought 'now is the time to take the leap'. 
The Masha is an electric potato masher, not dissimilar to a hand blender in design but with a removable cone allowing the Rotor Blade to be removed with a simple turn and click.
Whilst it's primarily designed for making the perfect mashed potato it can be used for pureeing baby food, creating tasty dips and can even help out with baking scones or cakes.
One of the most annoying things about a normal masher is knowing that unless you mash your spuds for a good half an hour there will always be lumps, but I have to admit with this I think Sensio Home have hit the nail on the head. The Masha was extremely quick and easy to use, plus it made the perfect mashed potato for my fish pie.
I love the way this has holes around the end so the mash just slides out hassle free making it extremely smooth. My initial thought was that the blade did not look strong enough for mashing potatoes but I was pleasantly surprised!
It was really easy to clean as well. All you need to do is remove the Masha cone with a simple turn and pop it in some hot water or your dishwasher. With just hot water and soap there was no residue left in the rotor-cone, this means there are no places for ingredients to hide, making wash-up a breeze. This made the whole making mashed potato process even more effortless."
