“Advances in technology now allows Brits to enjoy their favourite past times in the bathroom without the fear of water and steam damage to their technology. While a large number of Brits feel limited on time to enjoy their favourite hobbies, it’s great to see that as many as 33% take this time to relax and unwind from their daily routines. Technology has not always been something you would consider for the bathroom but we are seeing an increasing amount of bathroom fixtures and fittings that combine technology into bathroom suites, including LED mirrors, bathtubs and showers with chromatherapy lighting and high-tech toilets.”
Londoners were found to be the biggest bathroom multitaskers with 71% teaming their hobbies with their time in the bathroom, followed by Nottingham residents (68%) and Birmingham locals (65%).
